Camp Schedule & Locations

Code & Design: Build Your Own Games and Apps

• Dates: 06/29 – 07/02

• Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Full-Day Only)

• Location: Larry L. Maxam Park

• The Experience: Participants dive into the world of digital creation. They will design and build their own games and simple apps using beginner-friendly tools like Scratch and MIT App Inventor, while exploring digital art, character creation, and storyboarding.

Music and Design Camp

• Dates: 07/13 – 07/17

• Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Full-Day Only)

• Location: Olive Recreation Center

• The Experience: Participants explore the intersection of coding, music, and digital design. Campers will code music using Sonic Pi, create original sound compositions, and design digital projects using Canva.

What to Expect

• Project-Based Learning: Campers test their projects, collaborate with peers, and refine their ideas in a supportive environment.

• All-Inclusive: We provide all computers and necessary software—no need to bring your own device.

• Balanced Day: We balance intensive coding sessions with structured outdoor breaks and collaborative STEM challenges.

• Target Ages: Perfect for aspiring coders, game designers, musicians, and digital artists (Ages 7–14).

Registration Details

Registration is handled through the Burbank Parks and Recreation portal. Spaces are limited to ensure a low student-to-teacher ratio and a personalized experience for every camper.
