Block Code Adventure Lab
Dive into the world of logic and creativity! In this high-energy camp, students explore the fundamentals of computer science using MIT Scratch and Microsoft MakeCode. Campers will transition from technology consumers to creators as they design animated stories, build retro-style arcade games, and solve interactive puzzles. By using visual “block” programming, we strip away the frustration of complex syntax, allowing kids to focus on the “how” and “why” of coding while building a solid foundation for future text-based languages. Age 8-14.
Camp Overview
Location: The City of Laguna Hills, CA

Our curriculum moves beyond basic screen time, focusing on logic, critical thinking, and project-based learning.
Game Design (Scratch & Roblox): Build playable games and learn “if-then” logic.
Minecraft Engineering: Use Redstone to teach automation and circuitry.
Python & Web Development: Advanced campers dive into text-based coding.
STEM Challenges: Hands-on activities that take code into the physical world.
